| This site run by Bob Johnson is well worth a visit.
The Archive section of his Photo Tips pages
are bursting with ideas based on experience and fact. He has published and
archived weekly tips relating to most things concerning the relentless
industry drive toward digital since 2001 and the addresses problems that
crossover causes many photographers.
For instance, there is an article which
explodes the myth of DPI relating to monitors and how dpi and ppi are
misunderstood - there is also a separate (but related) article on Colour
Management. Both these issues are important for film camera users who
scan to PC and print as well as digital photographers who need to
understand colour and image editing workflow to maintain consistency in
the 'digital darkroom'. Its simply a huge archive of hard fact and neutral
advice. He also Links to some pretty useful web sites also.
